Re: Screenshot thread number NEIN (9)

Superiorstar has a point here. Throwing at least 1 negative comment, with out any advice to top it off will put both you and the person you're talking to, or who you're talking about, in a Lose-Lose situation. It won't get either of you anywhere. This isn't just for you, Enjl, but for everyone as we...

Re: Favorite Indie Games and why?

To be honest, it has got to be Freedom Planet, hands down, because of how challenging it is, and the difficulty of the bosses, especially.

Re: Your Avatar: Thread Three

I just updated mine so it has Lilac from Freedom Planet (Left), and a complete custom piece of pixelart of Luigi made by yours truly (Right); Although it's the result of dusting off my notes of spriting for 5 years. XD On the top right corner shows what Brawl mod I'm working currently. ;)

Re: Exact Limits of the SMBX-worldmap editor(small update)

So I've got a question - are there any characters besides numbers and letters that can safely be used in level names? This does explain a lot, actually. know for a fact that "" isn't allowed. Letters, Numbers, and - is allowed. I didn't try special characters however. Not sure, but I think '&', '!'...

Managed to rip all the unused graphics from SMB1 and actually make them look decent. How'd I do?
That's actually pretty good, for a 16-bit style. I take it you already know about the weird shading on the hills?

Re: How long was the typical Mario 3 level?

Both of those width estimates are too high, actually (300 is way too high). These levels are positively tiny. I took a random level map (no fortresses or airships) from each world and divided its width by 16 to get the level width. Every section's width in tiles is a multiple of 16 (not surprisingl...

I'm not so sure if I can agree on that, honestly, but a guess is a guess. My guess is around 300 tiles, or around 1.5 minutes.

http://i.imgur.com/WjgWXds.gif How I got inspiration to make this: Seen a Rainbow Dash hentai; Listened to Running in the 90s; Have a idea to a level involving animated giant Bullet Bills; Used rainbow blocks and background on it. Re: Visual Super Mario Bros. X (VSMBX) Thread

I was thinking of being able to edit the jumping height for the Podoboos (Jumping fireballs), as an advanced NPC option. It might work. I think a better solution would be to just have them jump to whatever height they are placed at like Lunar Magic does. Well... That's what I meant. Just worded it ...
