I don't like fortnite at all, so I may skip over this as it has fortnite in the name.

I think it's meant to be some kind of pun between wide and ride... doesn't really make much sense.

I also like the fact that in Paper Mario 64 & The Thousand-Year Door, Mario only has 1 hammer, and the badge, Hammer Throw, gave him infinite hammers to throw at his foes.
He most likely stores them in his pockets or boots, seems legit to me.

Re: Video Game Logics

How about the logic in most FPS's, where you take like 20+ bullets before you die, but enemies take like 2-4 bullets, and the fact that an simple bandage heals you back to full health.

This is not supported by SMBX. You need to use music.ini in SMBX2 to change the paths to music files to override them instead.
I have an question, will it in the future be supported? or will it forever be unsupported? now I'm kinda curious.

Re: Sinterklaas (mini-episode)

I played an bit of it, and I was an bit confused as to what I was meant to do at first, but it's okay at most. I liked the idea of throwing presents at the chimney's in an way to get to the next area, but you could have added an few more challenging places which required more platforming to get up, ...

Re: Would Anybody Be Interested in a Super Mario World Remake for SMBX?

Yeah, I'm with the rest of them, with the release of the SNES Nintendo Switch Online thing, what would be the point of remaking SMBW? same goes for SMB, SMB2, SMB:TLL and SMB3.

Also, I'm back from death.

I haven't been around for that long, so I'll give my verdict, It looks like a slim King K'Rool that's turning blue from the stress DK causes him by stopping his plans.

Re: Level of the Month March [Results]

This was pretty exciting! I really like the other levels featured, and I am pretty happy my level was featured as well! :D

Congrats to everyone who won! At least my level isn't last place, but it does make me smile that people actually voted for mine! :)

Re: Super Bros Nova CANCELLED

But regardless, I thought the LUA code from 2.0 wouldn't work on something like 38A, so either way, a lot of that would be useless, and why would you just trash a entire episode with 3-4 months into the making, wasting all the time you spent on it?

Re: [SMBX 2.0 Beta 3] Windows World!

Ah, the good old 90's, there are also some extra graphics, like Bomb Blocks being walls with Minesweeper bombs in it. ;P Memories! I ought to try this level out whenever I have some free time. Might make a You Tube video of it. Well I hope you enjoy the level then! I will be updating the level to i...

[SMBX 2.0 Beta 3] Windows World!

Hello everyone! Now, if anyone remembers the level Windows Mario World x Beta by Win31boy, this level is a bit like that. This one takes place on Windows Operating Systems (only Windows 3.1 right now) and you have to get to the end goal for each one! (Every level ends with the Windows Setup Icon.) S...

Re: SMB3 Snowy GFX Pack

You shouldn't be doing any stretching. For pixel art you should be individually editing the pixels. Working on a 16x16 canvas and then resizing it later helps a lot. Also you generally shouldn't have any 1x1 pixels at 2px resolution for graphics I do happen to use Paint.Net, and when I resize ANY i...

Re: SMB3 Snowy GFX Pack

Sometimes, simple GFX looks better than overcomplicated GFX. It's a good thing to remember where SMBX comes from, and old-school Mario game with very little scenery and simple graphics. It definitely has its uses. yes, but the more 1x1 pixels a graphic has, the more people will notice, its best to ...

Re: SMB3 Snowy GFX Pack

Nice, good job with all these stuff! Thanks, I am actually trying to work on a different GFX pack (think DS) but instead of making the same mistake as my SM64 GFX pack, I am trying to draw it all manually. Trying to avoid 1x1 pixels by any means nessassary. Just sprite your graphics in 1x1 and resi...

Also, I made it so that when you squish the Goomba, instead of being completely squished, it gets sunk into the snow. because you can sink in snow. Nice, good job with all these stuff!
