Re: ! Mark Background Help

I'm pretty sure it was bossedit8 who made these a long time ago. Try PMing him.

Re: Cleavaged Cliff

Ya that's partly my mistake as I didn't state it in the starting post. Bear with me I still have no idea what all these engines are called.
Still thank you Shadow_Flame for bothering to review it, I appreciate it!

Re: Cleavaged Cliff

Thanks. That means a lot to me especially after trying to create a level after such a long time.

Re: [NEW POLL] General Political Thread.

^that sounds like the logic behind the gun law. Always have a gun at your side so you can shoot someone who points a gun at you first.

Re: Cleavaged Cliff

I don't think it does. I honestly have no clue how all this compatibility stuff works. It might work if you have 1.3.0.1 with lunalua installed. I made the level with SMBX 2.0

Re: Cleavaged Cliff

There's a bug I discovered when using it though. When I tried placing the checkpoint on other spots with solid ground (the checkpoint as it is now is placed above a sizable), I always ended up a few blocks further up than intended when restarting the level after taking the checkpoint. I'm not 100% s...

Cleavaged Cliff

It's been a really long time since I last touched the SMBX level editor to create a level on my own and actually complete designing it. (Especially within the same day I started creating the level!) I think it's been at least like 3-4 years. Anyway, since I actually want to go back to designing leve...

^or rather, more people testing = higher chance to find more bugs Good luck with the project! It seems pretty neat so far. However, you should make this space a bit bigger here https://i.gyazo.com/c6fb72210bd81ac3813fe7218655c428.png It doesn't really look appealing nor is there much room for action.

Re: How active are you on the forums?

Going back to the initial post, I'm rather inactive in the forums and I claim to be back from time to time - but after a max of 2 days I'll fall back into the shadow.
I don't know why is that, perhaps other games are making me drown in them way too much.

Re: The problem with most new users

But how can you force them to read the rules?
It would be great if people actually read rules before posting. (Doesn't only apply to this forum)

Re: Savanna Tileset

Hence I wrote useable. These are in 1x1 pixels which no style in SMBX actually uses. You could argue that some levels do, but they mostly end up being joke levels or ignored ones..
Welp, if you don't want to make these fit with any other style SMBX uses then so be it. I'm not forcing you to.

The Greatest Jaggi wrote:I never really found the default smbx style interesting tbh.
That's really not an excuse.
If you want your graphics to be useable for others, then adapt them to the useable styles. If you don't, why share?

Some Factory Tileset [updated]

Looks pretty electronic doesn't it? http://i.imgur.com/wD8lOxW.png Everything you can see in the screenshot but the background is included in the download. I personally think it would look better if it is used for 'outdoors' levels instead of 'indoors'. (Is there even a proper phrase for that?) Down...

Lost Shinjuku Tileset

Something I made a while ago but forgot to upload. It's based on Etrian Odyssey's 5th stratum , Lost Shinjuku. http://i.imgur.com/pSCwa5c.png http://i.imgur.com/1O8gAlN.png Everything you see on the screenshots is included, except for the playable character and doors. Re: Savanna Tileset

Incase anyone is wondering, I am intentionally trying to differentiate from the normal SMBX styles since I will be using this tileset and many others in my own episode wih original characters, environments etc. It would still be nice if you made it fit with the other graphics SMBX uses. Why share i...
