Unfortunately that only affects fullscreen and full screen mode is fine. Its when the game is in windowed mode it looks like that.

Window Size

So I have an issue that just showed up today. The window size of smbx is cropped. This is what happens when I stretch the window. NOTE: The black is not part of the level. https://i.imgur.com/Z9bnpgK.png This is what happens when I try to hide the black space. https://i.imgur.com/NnoyI3g.png And thi...

Re: The thing about 1.3 and 2.0

Back when I had my old computer, I was forced to use 1.3.0.1 over 2.0 due to an issue with lag. Both 1.3.0.2 and 2.0 had the smallest amount of lag that made the game not enjoyable at all. After I got my new computer I was finally able to switch.

Re: I will speedrun your level (Shrine of Dolls by RPG_Magician 2:42:03)

There was a user who was doing something similar a while back and they had a lunalua file that kept track of the time for them. You should use that so you can determine the time easier. The thread is here: https://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=87&t=13088 But it does not start you a...

Re: Best and Worst Mario Kart Tracks

Please keep in mind that I have only played N64 to Wii, and even then I only really played Super Circuit, DS, and Wii. N64 N64 Toad's Turnpike (N64 Version, Mirror) - For the same reasons as those above me have stated. GBA SNES Ghost Valley 3 (GBA Version) - As someone who grew up playing Mario Kart...

I use a wireless xbox 360 controller and I dont have any issues. Make sure your controller is on before starting smbx, otherwise it wont detect inputs.

Re: What is the best Mario Kart game?

Super Circuit. Its portable and can easily be emulated, the controls aren't actually that bad, the CPUs are actually pretty balanced in this game, and you get 20 new tracks and all 20 SNES tracks.

Re: Can remakes be considered "custom"?

why do people make remakes anyway? i can just play the original game on an emulator. Isn't that like saying why should Mario Kart Wii custom tracks include courses ported form other games? Different game engines might play better than the original which might make people want to do a remake. I pers...

Re: What version does everyone mostly use?

As of now, the most common versions are 2.0, 1.4.x and 1.3.0.1 (in that order?) and it's actually a bit of a problem because each of them is different from each other, thus preventing some people from playing levels made for a different version to what they've got. 1.3.0.1 and 2.0 are closely relat...

Re: Doki Doki Panic Character(s) v0.5

Great job! I'm pretty sure that death effects show normally without LunaLua no matter what size they are. For example, Return to Dinosaur Land. Also, Mario can slide down slopes as well. The death effects are bigger than the ones that that are replacing and are randomly cropped in game. I think the...

Dark makes cringy music (smbx gold mountain dew edition limited collectors)

That title though... So you may remember seeing this screen on discord a while back: http://i.imgur.com/T1nHwcT.png For those unaware, i am trying to remake Mario Bros (Arcade/GBA) into smbx. I decided that I did not want to use the low quality GBA music, so I started remaking some of the songs in ...
