it's way too dark. Use cooler colors instead of relying so much on the brightness meter.

I have to say that I'm subscribed to most of the forums and in some time I was inactive for at least 2 weeks. When I checked the forums again I just had 42 notifications. And I haven't noticed too much activity the last days Are we in a date where everyone is busy? or everyone just moved to the Disc...
