if they casually swim and hit a wall, they die. Also their field of vision should be wider. It seems like you have to be right in front of them in order for them to activate. Also they can leave the water as well.

Ok I can kinda understand why you would say that, but like, the sun isn't hitting that part of the tileset, so why should I make it just as bright? dithering is used to blend 2 colors together, so black should not be used for dithering. I understand that black was used to shade things in 8 bit, but still.
