Re: 2-Secret Hazy Mountain Hike

Very cool level! The graphics, the music, the gameplay, everything fit together to make a fun experience that makes me glad I downloaded it. The Dragon Coins were cleverly placed too, I might add. Also, the music sounded fine to me, both in volume and choice. If you do add a leaf, only add one. I fo...

Re: basic forest level #btb

BTB is some kind of movement started by a group of people where they break off from making nonlinear, layer/event heavy levels, and instead go "back to basics" (which is what BTB stands for) as in the classic Mario games. The guys that support the movement and are a part of it are known as "Mariohe...

Re: Impossible Gate

I honestly like the darkness gimmick, and where it was implemented. I like that im going along them bam. Nothing. I think the full blackouts last a little too long, since it is auto-scrolling quite fast. Sure I died quite a few times, but overall I think the level was very fun. Other than the one-bl...

Re: basic forest level #btb

I dont understand this BTB hype. The original editor is very limited, and not using moving platforms/events isnt going back to basics, as even SMB1 had moving platforms and events. That said, this fits right along a SMB1 7-1 theme, with SMB3 graphics. The only thing I dont get is the cave music. But...

Re: Kick Back Coastline

Not bad. This level does just about everything a 1-1 should do, though the mid-boss felt a bit weird. Not bad, but weird. There are a couple design issues though, one is in the first section, it is possible to jump up above the top of the level through the waterfalls and get stuck. The other is in t...

Re: 2-Player Level

I was considering buying a cheap game controller so one person could use that. That was where I got the idea for a 2 player episode. But then I realized most people werent gonna do that so I just focused on my normal episode, and now some standalone levels/level packs :) Thank you all for your feedb...

That was my assumption. Still, thought I would put it out there and see if anyone enjoyed it.

2-Player Level

I had an idea to make an entire episode requiring 2 players, but having doubts about how popular that would be, I decided to just release this level as a standalone. Grab a friend, and enjoy! http://i.imgur.com/NACpBjc.png http://www.mediafire.com/download/xo3obzhd5gg36uf/Mario_%26_Luigi_-_The_Adven...

Re: The Legend of Peach (v0.95) - Updated 2/10/15

Just giving this a little (ok maybe a huge) bump.

My computer crashed so I dont have SMBX anymore, so I was wondering if it was worth it to finish this episode or leave it as it?

Re: Generic Autoscroller

Well, I tweaked the level a bit, hopefully it fixes the issues with it. Nothing I really could think of to revamp the atmosphere, but I did what I could with what time I wanted to put into it (My project takes up most of my SMBX time)

Re: Generic Autoscroller

Haha that just goes to show you the quality of that old episode. The "golden nugget" in it was 1.5/10. But really, I put so little effort into making this enjoyable that I didnt expect much else. Also, the sound in SMBX is all screwy for me, so I often forget to put music in my levels since I tick "...

Re: The Legend of Peach (v0.9)

Temple of Time is complete, new hub is made. Multiple changes to some temples, most are cosmetic, but I revamped a few parts to some of them. Most notably the Shadow Temple. Enjoy!

Generic Autoscroller

Finally got posting permission! (I probably got it a long time ago and didn't notice) So, this is an old autoscrolling level I made for an old episode, and out of all the levels I made for it, this is the only completed one that looks halfway decent. I hope you enjoy! Screen: http://i.imgur.com/rnsv...

Re: 1-1 - Natural Plains

I have to agree with the previous statements! This level is darn near perfect in my opinion. For the first level of an episode, its the right difficulty, length, and has the right amount of secrets/extras. The atmosphere is very peaceful, and the graphics all fit nicely imo. My sound is all screwed ...

Re: Cotton Sky Collosus (Poll it!)

I like the atmosphere of this level. The pink isnt too harsh (for my eyes, at least, cant speak for everyone) but it stands out as a bright pink. It works well with the blue, and the whole level felt cool to look at. I didnt feel like NPCs were spammed until the boss, and besides the shell cannon, t...

Is there a way?

Is there a way for a player to use something as a block, and not an NPC? in the .txt folder I have: playerblocktop=1 jumphurt=0 npcblock=0 npcblocktop=0 but the npc (SMB3 Bowser) keeps standing on them (SMB3 Bowser Fireballs) EDIT: For this particular instance, I just had the SMB3 Bowser not move. I...

Re: The Legend of Peach (v0.9)

Bump for some feedback! I've hit some creative block with the Temple of Time, but I could still use some feedback on the hub I made. EDIT: Temple of Time is done, but still no feedback on my terrible hub! So, I've decided to just re-do the hub. Its going to be pretty much like SM64, just navigate Pe...
