SMI - Dereso in Crisis! (HIATUS)

Plot:
After defeating Bowser so many times, he got bored and did not want the Mushroom Kingdom anymore, so he moved and the Princess, Mario and their friends never knew anything new from them. That is, until one day, they recieve a letter from a neighbor island, saying that a giant turtule with spikes in his back and his minions started to proclaim her island and many others as his own. Feeling that Bowser might have done something terrible to those islands and their people, Mario and his friends, Princess Peach, Luigi and Toad embark on a adventure through out all Islands conquered by Bowser.

Plan:
First stop in this case, is a small island called Dereso Island, where the only population, is a woman and his kid in a small house on a small cliff to the sea. The objetive of this project is to get to the top of the island and fight Bowser's minions back. There will be many islands, and for those there will be many projects, at least, that's my original plan if this project gets as much attention as I want it to get.

Actually I am not new, but apparently the staff deleted my posts or sort of, don't need them anyway because I want to start fresh and new here, so thanks.

Initially, the fact that you canceled your older project disappoints me immensely. Your progress thus far was excellent, but yeah... I guess you planned it out formerly to be too large (what? Like 100-500 levels?). Anyway yeah, regarding this thread, the screen presented looks fairly nice; just your generic beach and grassland level. You merged tile sets very well, and they blend flawlessly. However, the fact that you only put two enemies way spaced out in the water bothers me; I'd personally put a green fish technically guarding the dragon coin. Additionally, I assume you really, really have a tendency to cluster background objects together, because on the right of the screen is ridiculous; also, I personally never overlap coins onto scenery objects but eh, that's just me.
I overall admire what this brings so far, particularly the logo, pretty damn professional if I do say so myself. I would just improve your obstacle and background objects placement, it's a little off the hook I think. And how you mentioned that there won't be any progress updates for a while; how about to entertain others for the moment, just show some more 1-1 screenshots? I don't see the hurt, unless you're afraid you'd spoil too much (I don't blame you but still).

Well, everything was against me when it comes to finishing those projects. First, I lost all interest on doing so, which is a way important characteristic someone needs to make levels and all. Second, I lost all my progress for unknown reasons, including that I had to re-install SMBX, so yeah. And I couldn't find anything here due to the forum being cleaned by Knux, so I just gave up and started over.

About the level, if I place enemies way spaced from each other it's because it is the very first level of the project and I do not want to make it so challenging just yet. I do think your idea of guarding a Dragon Coin with an enemy, and I shall consider doing so in the future. Also, yeah, I do cluster BGOs a lot in some cases, because I feel like I'm not placing enough scenery into the level, but that's just me.

Thanks, I thought I'd make my own logo at once, which is also what gave me the idea of making the Logo Service.

I would not like to spoil things, that's for sure, but I do understand that if I do not update so often people would just start to ignore this thread, that's why I intend to finish W1 as soon as I can.}

Time for an update, finally.

I have finished two other levels, including 1-3 and 1-S which is the Stardust level. For all those who have read my last update may know that Stardust levels have no connection to the world they are located, they WILL be hard regardless of that factor, so once the Demo is released, which will be some days later after I finish W1's castle keep in mind I won't take suggestions such as "make it easier, it doesn't fit for the world, it's too hard". With that in mind ... behold!

I know, they are not much, but it's all I can do if I do not want to spoil too much. Besides, these levels aren't that long as SMSE's levels, but they definitely are not too short as SMC's levels.

Hey I got an idea. Have lots of cannonballs, bullies, flames (the smb3 airship flames, but in pipes) in the episode, because the island is being sieged. The Bullet Bill cannons in the last screen gave me that idea.
