Background won't repeat vertically

Background won't repeat vertically

The background2 image won't repeat vertically. How do I fix this?

Have you tried to load up the tester and see how it looks in-game?

If the section becomes too high, isn't there a limit where everything above is just pitch black?

Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why.

Depends on the background. The replaced background here is SMB3 forest which doesn't have this, I think. The editor's background rendering is in no way useful in judging how it looks in-game though, since it doesn't repeat backgrounds vertically by design.

Ok, it works normally. For some reason it doesn't show the pattern repeating like it does in the editor of 1.3.
Need serious help with Lua based features :(
