Also, I think the X2 logo on the loading screen is replacable. I found it in the hardcoded folder as hardcoded-30-5.

I've found three of these NPCs (the giant thwomp, phantos, and the sea mines) and ported them to SMBX already. I'll send you them and the stuff from your other request when I feel like doing so. Also, I'd recommend you try and make custom graphics yourself, it's really easy.

The latest version SMBX2 PAL, though it's reccomended not to make episodes in that version. It will be obsoleted by Beta 4 sometime before January ends anyways.

Maybe try making an NPC that loses all X speed while in the air? If I can do it, then you can probably do it too.

Bowser request done. Almost everything else is done too (asides from the SMB3 Shy Guys, just download the CGFX pack, as I mentioned, to get those), but too lazy to upload them at the moment.

OK to the code thing. As for the second error, I'm not even trying to index an object called "tbl". I'm trying to have a local variable that's set to 1 once Mario stands on the NPC, then gets off it. Whenever Mario jumps off the NPC, the error occurs.

I doubt anyone's making Cappy anytime soon. I'd imagine the Capture mechanics would be hell to program, especially for 1.3 NPCs and custom NPCs. And even then, the Cap Jump would be less useful due to the lack of an aerial dive.
