Re: LunaLua vs Teascript: Pro and Con Explain

A lot of these pros and cons seem to be about the people that use these languages rather than the languages themselves.

Hey why don't you use the smbx2 rosalina instead of peach?
VanillaDude said that he had issues with SMBX2 which meant he has decided to use 1.3 instead. Also changes to the SMBX2 characters in beta 5 could break compatibility with future versions if he was to use SMBX2 for the project.

What happened with the "advanced" option for the npcs that, for example, allowed to personalize the bullet of the venus piranha plant? :(
This is not SMBX 38A, therefore features from that engine won't necessarily be in SMBX2 (which uses the original SMBX engine).

Re: .wld file disappeares from world editor

Maybe try SMBX2, or at least PGE. Will take some time to get used to but it is better than the legacy editor as it's easier to use, fixes bugs and also includes features that are questionably absent in th legacy editor.

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

ah. so that is why there are significatly less bugs when i try 1.4. 1.4 has even more bugs and issus than 1.3, which has more issues and bugs than SMBX2, so you are wrong here also why is it even having the smbx2 name, very misleading? 38A calling his engine 1.4, actually branding it as SMBX, is mi...

Why would people even want to play this unfair troll level? By what i have read on the post, it doesn't really sound fun to play or worth spending the time to beat it. Just like the original IWBTG game. I don't know why some gamer would wanna play it. Have you ever heard of this concept call...

You can replace the music via .ini files with any format used by SMBX.

SMBX2 beta 3 has an outdated version of PGE which has bugs which have since been fixed. There is an update available. https://wohlsoft.ru/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1977

It would, but it could be hard to find a spc of it.
Is .spc the only format that can be used as worldmap music?
In SMBX 2.0 Yeah, with one exception being the NSMB Theme, which can be a ogg

I don't think that it's possible to test levels with a controller, I might be wrong though
You can with a wired controller. Don't know about Bluetooth. But it should work with JoyToKey regardless of the what it is used for.

Does using custom music and graphics work the same as it did with 1.3.0.1? Yes, but there is also another for SMBX2 which is required for what the OP wants to do. What do you mean by what the OP wants to do? I don't really understand fully. Using more than one custom music in the same section.
