Thanks, I actually was able to download the other packs because they're on Mediafire or Google drive. It's really just a problem with SMB1 and SMB2 hosted on Sendspace.

If I can make a suggestion, it's to keep the light and shadow consistent. Right now the way it is present on the blocks is different depending on whether they are vertical or horizontal, probably because they rotated with the blocks when they actually should'nt.

That's a neat snow effect but why it goes dark when losing?

So, just informing than my problem was fixed by removing and reinstalling SMBX, the extra settings works now. I installed the first time SMBX PAL on the previous version of SMBX so maybe something conflicted from here?
