Re: WIP Graphics Showcase III

Here's a little something for anyone who wants to code it (its not a request, but by all means feel free to go ham). I made the SMG variants of the Tox Box, and if I get a chance I might make the SM64 variant as well. If anyone does decide to make a working version please let me know, I'd love to se...

SMW Spike Pillar (Skewer)

The first of many new graphics for SMBX2! It's the original Spike Pillar instead of the one from SMM if anyone prefers it. I know there is no base in SMW however, for aesthetic purposes I've kept it. Re: SMBX2 PAL Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

Found a small bug with the Skewers, not sure if this has been mentioned before or not. Placing a sizable behind a vertical Skewer (ceiling version only) causes it to impact 1 block from its starting point no matter its length settings. Take the sizable away and the Skewer behaves as it should. https...

I see the OneDrive link system isn't as good as what I had hoped, nevertheless here's a sturdy Mediafire link for v1.8

A sign of things to come?..... https://i.imgur.com/6vb0oCW.png Wow what a nice surprise to see you. What is that graphic supposed to be though? Haven't touched anything SMBX related in I don't know how long, but I've gotten to that point of having some fresh ideas again. Probably won't be touching ...

Re: Lowser's Conquest (Get the beta now!)

Okay, so I'm loving every little bit of this Beta so far, however, there is one thing I just can't figure out at the moment. Not sure if it has not been completed yet or not, but what it the go with "Mysterious Pipe". I've looked everywhere in that level to open the metal door that barricades the gi...

Re: WIP Graphics Showcase 2

There's a reason why the jellyfish tentacles have no outline, but until I finish the updates to their extra effects it probably won't seem clear as to why. Basically the background in most levels that they will feature in will have a dark or black background, so I want the tentacles to stand out. Th...

I might have a play around with your version and see what I come up with from there. I mean the shading is pretty much ...

Re: SMB3-styled King Bill

Hmm, you guys do make a valid point. I did say it was the last time I would update the sprite, but if anyone wants to have a crack at it by all means. I don't intend on working on this monolithic sprite again anytime soon so it would be interesting to see someone else's take on King Bill using the ...

Re: Games You Wish Had a Sequel or a Remake.

Well since Crash finally got some love out of Activision, let's see them loosen their grip on the original Spyro trilogy. I would love to see a remaster of those games. I wouldn't mind seeing the two Croc games get some time in the spotlight again, but considering Argonaut Software went bankrupt and...

SMB3-styled King Bill

This is the last time I'm going to be updating this sprite so I hope you guys and gals like it. King Bill is a massive sprite and normal shading just doesn't look right, so I decided dithering might make it look a little nicer, though I may have gone a little overboard with the effect. This NPC incl...

Re: Music Discussion Thread

Seriously pumped for the new series for a few reasons. Not much of a fan of the Link mechanic itself, because it's can be easily abused, but the Arc-V trash is done and gone and everything so far for Vrains looks amazing. Then there's the opening soundtrack: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJBljopAe...
