so this was actually caused by me having a lua script with the same api name laying around in the folders somewhere.
I deleted it and it fixed the problem

PixelPest it seems like that is not actually is sword cooldown like what the lunalua wiki says..
it seems that is just his animation timer.

@NightKawata I know it was never meant to be a replica I just thought it would be cool to try to make it one since we have lualuna now.

sadly I'm waiting for the PGE Engine to be finished and for SMBX 2.0 to be moved to it.

@PixelPest I don't think it could just be used for SMBX for example these sprites could be used in any game
