Actually, if you're using SMBX 2.0, there's an easier way to do it. Copy over the sounds.ini file from the sounds file, and locate the death sound in there (it's the one called [sound-8]). Now get rid of the other sounds and ensure that your death sound is called "player-died.mp3" or name it someth...

I still use the Legacy editor because whenever I play around with the PGE Editor and test its limits, I normally end up breaking the first one, and then make another folder for PGE

I found this when testing SMB2 Mario(as Toad) and the Fairy Pendant with switch blocks. If you place a player switch down, and then the player blocks to the upper right and left of the switch, then softly float down onto the player switch, then you'll fall right through the player switch.

Has there been any plans to cooperate or collaborate with the SMBX 1.4 developer? I think that he has a great seed but it has a lot of lacking things in it, so I think that he should collaborate with you guys to have faster updates to both SMBXs or even merge them. I heard they tried to contact him...

Does this work in the legacy editor? Because every time I try, it crashes, and then a pop up comes up saying that access to file was denied.

I can't wait until this upcoming SMBX 2.0. Especially the new characters and NPCs! I've been waiting forever for playable Rosalina and the new Magikoopa.
