Re: SMM2 SMW Pipe Colors GFX Pack

Cool! It reminds me of the SMM2 pipes, unless these were based off those. They're really colorful and look like glistening metal.

Screenshots? Just want to be sure that I'm downloading something I want.
The links basically take you to a wiki page with the sprites on them. You just need to save the images and put them into SMBX by renaming them and doubling their size.

NPC Request - Elastic Platforms from Super Mario World

Hello, I was wondering if someone would be able to create those elastic platforms in Super Mario World. I don't remember if they appear that much, but they basically spring you up a certain distance depending on where you jumped from. For example, you don't bounce high if you jump from the part they...

Re: [NPC Pack] Amazing Flyin' Hammer Bros.

It's great, but originally in Super Mario World, you could hit the bottom of the block to defeat the AFH Bro. I felt that missing too, however, I don't really have much of an idea on how to implement that. So, until I do, no bonking. :( You could probably ask on the Codehaus Discord server. I'm sur...

Yes, it’s a request. It’s on the right forum, right? Because I hit the button for “New Topic” in the sub forum Graphics Request.
Yeah, you did it correctly.

Re: SMB Retroverse (SMBX 1.4.4

Continuing what Enjl said, you could perhaps develop a few levels, and make as many as you feel like doing.
For example, maybe think "Ok, so I'm going to do 3 levels and see how I feel afterwards" and then decide what to do from there.

I always procrastinate as well, so you're not alone. I often find it enjoyable to work on my project when I'm refreshed after a good night's sleep.

The only thing about using PAL version is that some of the scripts may mess up.

Ooh, I really like the screens, especially the world map and the continuity between the level graphics and the plot. I might give this a try if I get a chance.

They're cool sprites, but are they meant to be named that in the filenames? I thought they had to have a name that corresponds with an id.
