Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

Are you referring to default or SMBX2 default themes? If the former (which was what I had as the default), then it definitey does not look as good. If the latter, then it does look better and some of the icons explain what they open better than the beta 3 ones imo (if you want the beta 3 theme, tha...

Simple feedback: I prefer the old toolbar icons in PGE over the new ones, as the latter are more blurry and less pretty.
Same here, actually. Though maybe I'm just not used to it.

Re: The 7 Kings of SMB3

If the names are critical to the story, then it would be important. Well good luck remembering their names because I am sure most people will forget them and will be confused when they appear in a story segment. Not any harder to remember than any over story based game with new characters. Also why...

Re: The 7 Kings of SMB3

Ooh, I love randomly naming characters!
In order of appearance they are:
Rustav
George
Blario
Tommy
Michael Jackson
Stephano
and Magus the Wise

I just sort of entered whatever first popped into my head.

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

Will SMBX get taken down because of Article 13 (unless the devs live oitside of europe ofc) no https://talkhaus.raocow.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=17774 there's a full pack of almost entirely original assets to use instead of all of the Mario assets for SMBX if a situation such as this were to occur.

Wow, this is really neat! I think having more 8-bit gfx/sfx would be really cool.

Re: It's The Demo and also More Information

Strange. I never had that error before. I played the demo copy I have on my hard drive all the way through and that error never appeared. I even downloaded a copy off of the download link just to be sure, and never had that problem either. I'm not so sure what exactly is going on here, but just to ...

Send a screenshot of the crash and I may be able to help you.
If for whatever reason that is not possible, tell me which version you are using.

Welp, now's the demo time.
Here's the actual demo.
It's sort of small, as it's only a demo of a few Canada levels and that's all.
For some reason, SMBX crashes when I try to enter the third level... Am I missing a needed library or something?

When the website comes back we'll make sure to inform you. We're looking for a solution that hopefully prevents repeats. Repeatedly asking about when we're done fixing it is the equivalent of asking "when are we there?" on car rides.

Please read back through the topic and you'll see that this issue has been addressed countless times
Is there another site the blog is being continued on? Or even a plan to fix the old one?

I like it! I feel like most SMW sand tilesets just never have the right feeling, but this one is pretty nice!

Quite interesting! This will probably be pretty useful for me, since I usually only use one type of snifit in my levels.

Re: Link Health System for Other Characters

Link loses HP just like Toad and Peach do. His small form just looks just like his big form. Heart HUD for Mario sounds a bit rough since he tries to go into powerdown when taking a hit, but can probably be achieved through clever management of the player.powerup field and the powerdown forced anim...

Link Health System for Other Characters

So, I've been trying to add 16-bit versions of Doki Doki Panic characters into SMBX, but I realized a key problem... They don't have small forms! Is it possible to make characters like Mario and Luigi not power down into their small form, so they take damage as Link does? And, if possible, have the ...

Pipes BG Blue Recolor

Y'know the default pipe background? It's blue now. Anyways, this is pretty minor; I decided to post it because I haven't put up any content yet. I made it to go with the construction tileset in crazydev's Supa Graphics Pack, so thanks to them for most of the palette. The image: https://s15.postimg.c...

Re: SMBX: Alien Invasion

Well, I'm mainly curious about this project because of the 'Amazing Cow Level' from it that was posted elsewhere on the forums. An episode with more of that kind of gameplay would be great. Although, what's up with the default tilesets? Sort of bland, to be honest.
