Re: Snowball Valley

Welcome back! This is a neat level, I dig the aesthetic... but I feel it's a bit rough around the edges. A bunch of setups involving piranha plants or snowball throwing enemies feel like they are supposed to inflict a sense of challenge, instead of actually being a challenge. Take the first platform...

Re: Interested in judging? Click here!

WHAT KIND OF LEVELS DO YOU LIKE? I greatly enjoy levels with a good sense of progression, creativity and understanding of the player perspective. There are many tools at SMBX's arsenal, and it's delightful to see what unique scenarios the creator of a level has designed with them. The progression i...

Re: Aristo's Levels - Newest Level: Oops I Set The Forest On Fire!

A level doesn't need to pull any INSANE twist, be it in gameplay or story, to be good....and I think this level is the testament to that! It's just an overall solid level, with fun setups and a good sense of progression slapped on top of that as you continue on and the fire becomes more and more app...

Re: Fanfare Forest - Mystery Contest Entry

Neat level! I enjoyed the mechanics and the "3D" platforms are a very creative idea; wonder what else can be done with that! Unfortunately, I felt that the setups became a bit repetitive and the potentials weren't fully realized by the end....I guess the level just kinda ended is what I am saying? I...

Re: What games are you playing right now?

Currently replaying Red Dead Redemption 2, a game I think about constantly. I've also started OMORI, which was a game I almost gave up on being released considering the trailer was 6 years ago. Regardless they really made good use of that time and everything's delightfully crafted so far, be it the ...

While it is true you can bounce into the lava and the booster will burst withou...
