Wow huge response thank you :D , it appears most are leaning toward 2.0 beta 3. As in "big project" I'm not sure what others have done but the last smbx project I worked on, that was lost sadly, was a full length Zelda oriented game. Since SMBX is not open source I will have to use the regular game mechanics "get item, and once hit you lose it".
