Try designating an intro level, and exit via a warp that sets the destination on the world map.

Two further things are broken: -The check for the music.ini file causes an error on startup. The section is "Get music paths for vanilla music" and the line it points to is: vanillaMusicPaths[w._header] = v.. For the incomplete NPCs, Blerts seem to work fine apart from a graphical glitch, though Goldblerts just reproduce forever.

For the lava layers, if we use Source Engine terms, those layers would be brushes.

Dry Bones Shell shouldn't be too hard, just base it on the skull raft, but swimming through lava is probably way too much work.

I wasn't aware that was a feature. I mean, it makes sense, but I thought you'd just have to do it all manually. How are they made per-episode?

It outright crashes PGE with "Aborted! [SIGABRT]" citing that the filenames for the PGE libraries (I think) are invalid. Opening the file in Notepad shows that the file is in the 1.4.4 format but I can load Super Caleb Bros and Endless Maze levels (which I downloaded specifically to test this) in PG...

Okay, that does work. Now whenever I enter room 3 I turn into Snake, and whenever I die and respawn I turn into Bowser.

Starting in the four-rooms test where the four rooms are does work, so I can now confirm that's what I need to do. So from what I can tell, wldx is waiting on stuff like this and the fancy stuff seen in the demo episode, plus the custom music thing being fixed. One thing I'd like to have in my abstract world is the black background changing to a particular image based on what level tile you were on last, though ...

Transitions don't work, the game spams nil value errors and the camera doesn't respect the room boundaries. The respawning does work, but rooms are inoperable unless I set rooms.transitionType = rooms.TRANSITION_TYPE_NONE. It appears to be a conflict, but this is the only custom LUA I'm using in thi...

Not sure where the launcher's priorities lie, but if you have a .wld and .wldx file in the same folder, the game will fail to read the .wldx file. It might as well have the .mlp extension.
