You should probably hold off fixing all but the most critical or easy-to-fix issues in built-in episodes (stuff like crashes and the issue Invasion 2 and Princess Cliche had with inter-level transitions) until you've done most of the bigger stuff because they could just break again as you change stu...

Yes, I did set that flag, so it seems like that's the issue. On the subject of that flag, it seems to prevent all leftward camera movement, to the point where trying to create that one looping level from Lost Levels is impossible (8-2 I think...)

An NPC despawning by moving offscreen still plays its on-death event even though it shouldn't. This means any level using NPC 465 is prone to breaking, because the event will trigger just by moving far enough away instead of only by touching it.

Seems like an issue with X2. I tested it out and it worked for me, but upon being hit it changed to the leftmost tile of itself (because it's using a block that stays the same ID when hit). I don't know how 1.4.4 operates with changing how blocks behave, but with SMBX2 and 1.3 it appears everything ...

Mountain Climb and Colorful Craftlands feel like they should be combined into a single episode. You'd need more scenery IDs to do that, though... They share 8. Levels can't be entered via "instant" entrances, which is problematic when you don't want the door animation. In fact, the test UI doesn't even allow them to be selected. Actually, were they even always there?

Come to think of it, what actually is the point of game overs in smbx? When the game is saved after beating every level, game overs are just a longer, more annoying, death animation. The only thing they've ever done is trash checkpoint progress in a level. Honestly, I tend to prefer disabling lives...
