Looks like the text boxes called by events just spawn there for some reason. Probably a bug.

For having more graphics per world, I believe something is coming, but in the meantime, you can do what the last overworld contest winner did and replace tiles with large prerendered images.

Okay, not sure what the point of the fire flower under the note blocks is, given that you can't get to it. If it was a leaf it would at least be reasonable...

Also, great background and good choice of music, I wish more levels could use them and similar stuff...

I fixed the problem by commenting out lines 127-141. Now it just blinks in and out of a blank frame and disappears entirely when I get in. It still displays the afterimages, though, meaning that dependency isn't the problem. So I guess whatever effect is being used isn't supported by the game, unles...

Could be Redigit's spaghetti code. For all I know run speed is capped to reach the proper speed and the actual internal dash speed would put Sonic to shame.

Though it's weird that Wario is the only one still capped. It affects barrel cannons as well. And even his run, I think.

I think I figured out what's going on. It's not due to the error, that's just telling me the Goomba Tower is using PNPC which it shouldn't be. The problem is the balloons pack in this thread , one of the balloons forces a spinjump, but Wario doesn't have a spinjump, so an extra file is needed to mod...
