Re: Recolor objects

These don't look too bad for recolors. However, the red/pink on the Lakitu and Grinder contrasts badly with the desert palette.

This looks really nice and continues to show us the high quality content you create. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you in the future.

Re: SMB3 Desert Ruins

It's pretty nice looking, however, I really only have one gripe about it: Though you used the SMB3 palette, the graphics themselves feel more SMW-ish. Also, I can't say I'm a big fan of the bushes, but other than those minor issues, this is a damn good tileset.

Logging out of my MediaFire account seemed to solve the problem. Strange.

Update of my Bowser's Temple of Doom tileset. What do you think so far? http://i.imgur.com/P4jCqZo.png Also, check the spritesheet if you're interested: http://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=1318&p=68454#p68454 That looks really amazing, Natsu. Re: Super Mario and the Tower of Biased 7 (Patch 1)

Unless I'm missing something, what's the deal with the download? I'm not able to download the episode due to insufficient permissions. Can you show me what it shows you? Is anyone else having this problem? Here, I printscreen'd it, though I'm not sure how much use this will be. http://i.imgur.com/Z...

Re: Views on Classic Mario Level Design

*sigh* I do wish we had the SMBX source code... I do like the Classic Nintendo Levels, It's just that SMBX custom levels always look better. Probably because SMBX has already been made, and all we do is make levels, not design the game. Look at NSMBU and NSLU. I mean, NSMBU levels weren't really th...

Re: SMB3 athletic background bug

The screenshot isn't working, at least for me. However, I do know the problem. SMBX uses a section of the sky background at the top of certain backgrounds to serve as clouds. You'll have to edit the sky background as well if you want it to match.

There seems to be some clash between the NES and SNES-styled graphics, but on their own, each graphic looks good.

Re: Boo Banshee Boardwalk

I'll start out by saying that this level is pretty damn good. While it has its flaws, it provided an enjoyable experience. I'll touch on the graphics first. While you only used a few custom graphics, the SMW ghost house tileset got the job done. The only thing that bugged me regarding the graphics ...

Re: New Great Castle Adventure!

I initially had a message at the start of Flooded Plains saying you needed to kill all the green goombas to reach the violet star but ultimately removed it. I wanted to minimize the hand holding and let players figure things out for themselves. I immediately understood that they were Switch Goombas...

Re: Green Grasslands

On first glance, the level appears to be a classic SMB1 grassland level, and upon further inspection, it remains so. It's not at all bad and provides a short, but sweet throwback to the the classics. The graphics, since they are all SMB1-themed, have great synergy and suit the level well. The only t...

Re: Any Solutions for this Editor Crash?

That's what I thought. It's unfortunate that the editor has these kinds of limitations and problems, but I'm aware that it's also not an extremely powerful tool.

Any Solutions for this Editor Crash?

Hey everyone. This is a pretty simple problem, so I'm going to keep this brief. I've begun work on an episode that uses quite a lot of CGFX. It has 100+ universal (In folder with all levels) custom graphics, which is, unsurprisingly, creating somewhat longer save times. I do remember that being a si...
