Eeries (and Bullet/Banzai Bills) usually only spawn if they scroll on-screen by means of camera movement, or if they are generated.

The new characters are probably the biggest feature to 2.0 Hard disagree. The biggest feature is the custom range , and by extension, lunalua. The developers even stated that they would not work on a new episode for the 2.0 update. SMBX2 is ever-evolving, so it would be difficult for us to maintain...

You can replace sound effects like you would make custom graphics - by having a file in your level folder with the same name as the relevant sound file in the sound folder.

My recommendation: Try some other levels, both in SMBX and in other games, and see how they craft difficulty. It's rarely about the quantity of enemies, but about how they're positioned instead.
