Poverty, the aftermath of the Dust Bowl, and living in The Great Depression. That's really helpful, thanks a lot. I guess I'll read that book. Now there's only one thing left before I start: I must formulate an appropiate research question for the extended essay. I was thinking on something like th...

Hmm seeing that Grapes of Wrath (I looked at it in Wikipedia) was written by John Steinbeck I guess I could give it a shot. I read Of Mice and Men (written by him as well) and I really liked it. So now I would like to ask what kind of topics (such as the American Dream in Of Mice and Men) can I find...

Well this year I must write an extended essay because it's my last year in school. I'm going to do it in English so I need some suggestions. I need titles of literature books (only those who have been originally written in English) which I could do my essay about, or films that touch topics that aff...

So I'll say this now; when I get home, I'll review this level.
Thank you, I'm looking forward to that.

UNOFFICIAL REVIEW of DUSK DESERT by NARANJA Oof...this one was a bit painful for me. Design (1.5/10) I must say that I did not enjoy this level. Like, at ALL. The points that you get here are for effort. This level just had all of the qualities that I can't stand in a level: enemy spam, quicksand, ...

nobody ever truly leaves the SMBX community. Your interest in gaming (and SMBX especially) has less to do with it - if you're really a part of the community (i.e. you're friends with people here and don't join solely for SMBX help/discussion etc.), you won't really leave. ^true that Even if you sto...

I can't play this because it's an RAR D: https://www.sendspace.com/file/eikm4t There you go, that's in Zip. Also why Pikachu? Hmm well I used to work on a project long time ago (just finished one world) and Pikachus were somehow 'main characters' there if I remember correctly, so I created this lev...

A few weeks ago I decided to make a level after a couple of years, so I worked on it for many hours and I think it turned out well. I'm not sure if the standards of levels have changed since the last time I made one but still I'd like to share this here to see what you think about it. Screenshots ht...

I remember having played Brutal Mario several years ago but I could never get past the first levels, so I just watched an LP of the whole hack in youtube.

Don't liking being a male/female doesn't means you're homo.
Hmm not even a little?

Basically, there are only two possibilities with what you have right now: 1) If you remove the "height" and "width" codes from the txt file, the sprite-swap's hitbox will be smaller than its graphic and won't look correct during gameplay. 2) If you keep the "height" and "width" codes in the txt fil...

Haven't made a level in like a year, but I never used anything to motivate myself. I have the habit to not leave things I start unfinished so when I seriously decide to start a level I somehow manage to not leaving it half-made.

The same avatar I've used and never changed in every SMBX since I've been on the community, a stuffed dog keychain from my childhood. Brings me back some memories as it got lost last year.

Without looking at the level, I'm assuming the Beach Koopa gets stuck in the ground, or passes through the floor below it and disappears off-screen. If that is the case, you need to remove the height= and width= from the txt file. These two codes change the Beach Koopa's hitbox and, basically that ...
