So I'm making an SMBX episode, and I wanted to replace SMB1 Bowser's sprites with the new SMW Bowser sprites for Mario Maker. As in, what do you think the game would've been like if it'd never been discontinued by Nintendo and Redigit still worked on it, and where do you think it would be today? I should also mention that the screenshot with the grey tower isn't part of a level. It's an opening cutscene for the castle level where Mario/Luigi is walking towards the castle.

Those screenshots look beautiful. As someone who's been playing SMBX since 1.2, seeing all these levels I've been familiar with for years given a huge graphical makeover almost brings a tear to my eye.

When you use "Use Current" resize the section so that where the auto-scroll stops is one screen wide and one screen tall. Then set "Use Current" and resize the section back to how it was before you reduced it to one screen wide/tall. Also check your "event" and make sure Auto-Start is checked. Test...

This is done using events. When placing your npc, you can set him to trigger events when being talked to.
