Re: [Poll] General Political Thread.

So Bernie won Nevada by a mile, and if he wins South Carolina the Democratic race is basically over. There's two scenarios: A) Bernie gets a plurality of the delegates, and the DNC takes it from him at the convention. B) Bernie gets a majority and gets the nomination. If A, then Trump is the favorit...

General Help and Quick Questions

This thread is for general help with using Super Mario Bros. X and asking quick questions. If you anticipate your question will take one or two replies, and doesn't deserve its own topic then this is the place to ask. For more technical questions feel free to make a new topic but please include scre...

Re: [Poll] General Political Thread.

So there was a debate yesterday in Nevada. Everyone went after Bloomberg and each other while Bernie was not in any main line of attack as the front runner. This is in the context of Bernie winning the first two contests, Biden falling off a cliff in polls, Warren stagnating, Buttigieg with no more ...

Re: The Current Problem on SMBX

Aside from that... just a few thoughts. 1) SMWcentral has extensive guides for all of their tools. We kinda need more guides to help people out who are stuck in the various request sections. Because leaving them shouting into the void is unsustainable, but so is someone becoming the dedicated commu...

Re: The Current Problem on SMBX

I'd just like to say that featured episodes on the site died with the "Month of..." announcements. It was staff selecting content on an arbitrary time scale. A lot of SMBX staff don't play, or play enough to select content and give it a meaningful showcase. Sometimes there just wasn't anything subst...

Re: [Poll] General Political Thread.

Alright friends, Iowa kicked off the beginning of the presidential elections and the Democratic party fucked it up and multiple candidates are touting victories. Oh and Bloomberg paid the DNC $300k to get a rule change so he can get on the debate stage without needing small individual donors. The De...

On a serious note, is there going to be any benefit having this source code? I mean, 2.0 is veeeerry far in development, and many people know how to code lunalua now...
No. It will only be useful as a reference for SMBX2 and not anything more.

So people are making big hype in chat but it doesn't really have any use now?
Yeah not for anything with practical development. It's okay to sift through for reference and see what makes SMBX tick.

SMBX Legacy Source Code

https://i.imgur.com/ONpQt2a.png The SMBX source code is finally open! Do with it as you please. Here's a quick Q&A for anticipated questions... Q: What is this? A: The source code for Super Mario Bros. X 1.3 legacy version. Q: Is this legit? A: Yes. Q: Is this decompiled code? A: No. This is the so...

Re: Forum Updates

The SMBX forums will now be using phpBB's COPPA system for members that are under the age of 13. A group of registered COPPA users will have limited access to some forum features in order to make the community a safer place for its younger audience. This will not disrupt the typical member experienc...

We have the same thread over and over again. SMBX is alive and well. The activity ebbs and flows throughout the year, but it's more or less has a consistent.

Re: Does this rank actually have a purpose, or..

Edit: Also, about the rank idea, having it as a toggle to show any wank you have earned and or just disabling the display; I support it full force. This would be cool but it isn't feature of phpBB nor is there an extension to do this that I'm aware of. Ranks work on either # of posts or they're spe...

Some incorrect settings with cookies were fixed. This should resolve log in issues. Try deleting all cookies and logging back in. If that still doesn't work, please respond in this thread.

Re: [Poll] General Political Thread.

If anyone here is not prepared for Trump's re-election in 2020 you ought to be. Pelosi and Schiff are trying to go with the "this is sad" and "deeply concerned" about our democracy card while the rest of the party can't help themselves but undermine that. You have representatives coming in saying "w...

If you are having problems staying logged in, please explain step-by-step what happens here. Please mention if you were using http or https, and if you get locked out of your account needing to reset your password. The admins are trying to narrow down the issue since this seems to effect random peop...

Re: [Poll] General Political Thread.

I still don't understand how Conservatives won. Literally everywhere I looked at the run up to the election gave the impression that people didn't want the Tories to win. For example, so many people on Twitter talking about how they shouldn't be voting for Conservatives. It seemed so likely that La...
