1) is because if you do a bounce response you're giving the player jump force (0x11C) (regular jumps and springboards do this). by setting speedY for a single frame to something depending on whether the jump key is held in that frame, you can avoid this. (instead of relying on a bounce response) Ok...

I already gave up on the first section. Are you supposed to shelljump or use the boost triggered by the shell? In the latter case, are you supposed to spinjump? What's even a "light kaizo" level compared to a kaizo level? (I mean this is literally structured as a kaizo level) also the level is immu...
