Re: Perfect SMBX Screenshot Thread 10

Okay then. I changed the red to a powerful dark blue. Hopefully it is better now.

Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

I just tried your suggestion but it does not react there, either. Check out your task manager, and you'll see that SMBXLauncher will appear, and then, disappear, with no showing of the stuff. It's the same as at me on my VM. Anyway, you can start the game by starting the "data/LunaLoader.exe" direc...

Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

Looks weird: the "SMBX2.exe" is a very simple "shortcut" which executes the REAL launcher which you can find in the "data" folder (`data/SMBXLauncher.exe`). Try to launch it directly. Anyway, on my Win7 VM at my work, the launcher also didn't start by unknown reason... (possibly because of the weir...

Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

So, after some days, I tried to see if the package itself would not work for me, by pressing F5 (lua tester) in PGE on a random TI2 level and everything worked fine. The debug-menu popping up when pressing the ESC-key worked without problems and the game runs just fine. So, for some reason, the SMBX...

Re: Perfect SMBX Screenshot Thread 10

Perhaps it might be neat to add some sceneries dedicated to creating a smoother transition between the animated and still waters, if it's not too much trouble. I'd do it by creating some overlays with different corners being gradually more transparent, to let the animation shine through in specific...

Re: Where your avatar comes from?

Luigi looks like he's been in the bathroom for far too long To me, Luigi looks more like he didn't get to the bathroom in time. xD I made mine around 5 years ago. It depicts an original character of mine. His name is not "Sednaiur" though, and my signature also shows him, together with his hot flam...

The map in the screenshot will not be used for my project, though. I will build a new one. _______...

Re: I think it's safe to say...

I surely do agree with Knux on most this. To me, the activity and especially the creative activity started to decline in 2016. Since then I noticed that a lot less projects are started and even less are finished. Back when I first registered in january of the year 2013, projects, levels, and graphic...

I think I might remember you from the past 4-5 years ago..... Glad to see you back man Thank you. Yes, I was more active around that time. https://puu.sh/BXXFO/254d5e2e32.png Glad to see you back. Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

Yes, that is the version I tried. When I try to install the x64 version (I have a 64 bit OS) it tells me that the setup has failed because I already got another version of that file installed.
That is the message: Error 0x80070666: Cannot install a product when a newer version is installed.

Re: Introductions Thread

Hello. Long time not visited here. Remember me? ^^ I am still working on SMBX-relate stuff. Let me just say that I did not feel like visiting this place earlier for reasons. But as far as I can see these days the "problems" the SMBX-community had in 2017, seem to have toned down a bit. I will get mo...

Re: SMBX2 MAGLX3 Release - Feedback, Questions and Bugs here!

Hello again after not being far from 2 years gone from the forums. :-P Now I want to catch up and prepare myself for the use of SMBX 2b4 and learn some basics. But I am here because of a problem no one else seem to have reported so far. Here it goes: I downloaded the SMBX2MAGLX3 -package from the ma...

Re: SMBX Videos Thread

I thought this was the Lowser's Conquest thread. My bad. The deadly bug/glitch is that you messed up what layer moves. If I failed enough times I would have died by being crushed die to how layers work in SMBX. It was the last moving platform before the toad race. Yes, SMBX is very buggy with movin...

Re: Lowser's Conquest (Get the beta now!)

Not about to quote that. Their is a ghost house with a mean golden star here as well. Sednaiur. I 100%ed worlds 1, and 10I 100%ed the only level of world four I played. I also 100%ed every level I got to. One question though. Their is a spiky level after Twilight Fortress that when I got the gold s...

Re: Lowser's Conquest (Get the beta now!)

You updated the custom EXE, is it optimized for Suoer Mario Bros X 2? I do not fully understand this, sorry. But if you mean what I think, then I cannot setup the custom .exe to be compatible with SMBX2. Only the episode can be setup like that, which will happen in the future. The full version will...

Re: Lowser's Conquest (Get the beta now!)

Coping the files over now, did not expect half a Gigabyte from the Episode alone. Glad to be of help. But there are only about 200 MB, not 500MB. Please don't scare people away. xD I noticed in the editor that the npcs still looked like they needed .txt measurements. Anyway, I'm downloading the bet...

Erm, eh - yes... the beta is out now. Re: Lowser's Conquest (Download for the custom .exe)

I just downloaded the .exe and I really like the opening screen. Why didn't you use that title font in the first page of your thread? It looks loads better than the one you showed lol. Also the hype is real! The one I used is from around 4 and a half years ago, while the one on the opening screen i...
