Re: Super Mario Bros. 1X: Revived?!

This oughta be a good way to ease myself back into SMBX after a long break. Sign me up for 2-3, that shouldn't be too hard to handle.

Agreed. Top 10 reasons why this needs to stop.

Re: Unpopular game opinions

Spite me if you will, but I really don't think Tails' Sky Patrol, Sonic Blast, Sonic Spinball, and Sonic Labyrinth on the Game Gear are all that bad. They're just weak links in the GG library if anything imo.

Re: The most "Cartoony" Sega game(s) in your opinion

Monster World IV nailed the cartoon look purdy well. Oh heck yea. (Asha for SMBX2 Beta 4!!) Another cartoony Sega game I can think of... I can't leave out Mega Bomberman for the Genesis/MegaDrive, AKA Bomberman '94 as ported from the PC-Engine (and actually translated). A decent port despite some m...

Alex Kidd games are no doubt pretty cartoony. Now if only the main character wasn't so weak...

Google's gonna remove annotations?!

I heard from a YouTuber I'm subscribed to that effective May 2nd, Google will remove the ability to add or edit annotations to videos in favor of a new way to link to videos in a YouTuber's outro. Annotations from videos made before that date will remain, but that will be the last you see of annotat...

Re: What do you think about emulation?

'Ey guys. So I was actually giving Mednafen one more go with SNES games and as it turns out, the audio isn't staticky at all! My Windows 10 laptop's crappy speakers duped me...as did my old PC speakers back when I had an XP. The only real audio issue with it is a PSG channel or two (square/triangle ...

How has no one batted an eye to the awful Street Fighter movie yet? That sucked, and so did *... ahem... * Street Fighter: the Movie: the Game!

NFL '95...OK, THAT'S IT, I GIVE UP

UGH...I've tried and tried to figure out how to kick in NFL '95, but I just can't. And I haven't been able to find any online instruction manuals either! Can someone PLEASE tell me how the heck to kick the ball?! Because at this point, I've plain given up trying to find out. Help would be massively ...

Recommendations, anyone?

So I recently got openMSX for my computer, and that's where this topic's question comes in.
Does anyone have any recommendations for MSX ROM websites to check out? Not so sure about get-your-rom.com due to pop-up ads.

Re: Why did you start making Mario levels?

I worked with Super Mario 63 and Sunshine 64's editors a bit myself. I also used to make an occasional Super Mario Flash 1/2 level, until the day I discovered SMBX through bossedit8's videos. Eventually, I downloaded SMBX 1.3.0.1, and now...well...here I am! Thing is, with me being the video game lo...

Re: Error: Couldn't open custom music file

Come to think of it, when adding custom music to my own SMBX stuff in 1.3.0.1, whether it be a copy of an Ableton Live track I made or a track used in another fangame like Unofficial Salamander 3 or Xeno Fighters R, I usually have to edit the track in Audacity so that it gets as close to 128kbps as ...
