When using camera values to NPC.spawn coordinates , it shows a error saying "attempt to index upvalue 'camera' (a nil value)". What means it and how to fix?
Means it I am trying to index a function like a table or something?

I have a problem when using camera coordinates to NPC spawn. This don't work because need int values. How can I fix this? (I already used camera coordinates to NPC warp and it worked well...)

I have explained it. Except you didn't. You do realize that a "tool that is used in a different way" is a gimmick, right? Dragon Coins are gimmick since they're offering a sense exploration in the level to find them. Even moving layers are gimmicks. No one has ever said that a level needs an origin...

I think I used a wrong word to describe it. When I say "gimmick" I am trying to say something innovating and never saw before. I will use a different expression in the next time. I still don't see how it's not a gimmick when it's a basic tool used in a different way as you said. I have explained it...

I never implied one had to put a ton of "gimmicks" in their level. What matters is that the core idea for the level synergyzes with the level's theme and is executed well enough to give it a personality. You want your levels to stand out and be remarkable for what they are, regardless of what comes...

Actually, a lot of gimmicks don't means a good and funny level. You can try to make something like a one gimmick per section and you will realize that the completed level isn't so good maybe. Levels can be funny without inovatings gimmicks, but using basic tools with diferents ways. Your level can b...

If this is the rule, I agree with the disqualification for Shinbison. Cedrik's impunity isn't a reason to not punish Shinbison. The error in this case was not punish Cedrik. The biggest problem of non-linear levels are the quantity of backtracks.
My CC12 level is non-linear with heavy visual and I got 2nd (my level don't have backtracks).
So non-linear levels without a annoying design still better than linear levels.

Seeing the lists I can perceived that my best moment was 2014. ( For me, in this year, I was a average level designer ) In my head I improed my design in 2016....but on contests...is the contrary. I don't know what's happening with me...maybe problems in my personal life, that disrupts me designing...

Looks very beautiful, simple and original.
Good point: World 1 with sky and lava levels. I played some EPs with only grass levels on world 1, and it's very annoying in my opinion.

This level was quite nice to play. It wasn't a hugely innovative level, but as a beach/underwater level, it did what it had to do well enough.
