If you are not using SMBX2, another way is to make an ax invisible with custom graphics, and upon death, make the player press "Alt Jump" and with a 0.1 second delay, trigger an event that turns the floor into lava. Make it trigger another event after 0.3 seconds to turn the floor back to normal.

I forgot if that was fixed in the Pal release or the current dev build that is not public. Regardless, it is fixed. Lava looks super cute as well.

Personally, I love it when s/he posts in color. I forgot the reason I stopped typing all of my posts on this forum in #008000.

I believe that as long as the color is readable, (Not bright colors or neon) then it should be allowed.

It's using the 3down frame even if it's a 3up moon. The only setting I can find that changes anything is "frames" in the ini file, but that just makes it flash between the two frames in the editor, and it's still stuck on the 3down frame in game. Thanks for looking into it. It's working properly now, except for the graphics for some reason. It even plays the 3UP sound effect properly instead of crashing the game like other things I've encountered do for some strange reason. Sorry for not seeing this. Did I forget something in the .ini file?...
