Re: anotherpowerup.lua - and another one

"- You cannot make mini mario since every powerup has the properties of a full grown adult (can smash bricks and turn blocks)." Can't one theoretically 1. Combine fire and ice mario into slot 3 2. Make slot 7 have a small hitbox 3. Code custom blocks (brick and turn block replicas) that do...

Re: Find a Lost Graphic

NOTE: DO NOT READ IF YOU'RE A CCX1 JUDGE so I want to use reghrhre's pack, namely the jungle tiles in this screenshot https://i.imgur.com/WjS9wFQ.png however I can't find the background fortresses and windows, they're apparently not part of the pack. Where can I find them? Reminds me of the SMB3 Ac...

Re: New Super Mario Bros. X

Look, I'm going to be real here. I apreciate that you took your time to make this engine and it looks pretty good. Here's the thing though, was it really necessary for the SMBX community to have another engine? This was in development back in 2012 and back then it would of made sense for this engin...

Re: New Super Mario Bros. X

Well let's not forget that NSMBX is open-source Just before this half-sentence gets buried: SMBX2 is open source, too, with lunalua and the launcher on the lunalua repository, the edtior on the PGE repository, and the source code for the lua side included with every release. I appreciate that, thou...

Re: New Super Mario Bros. X

I think this is cool but how big is your dev team? A project like this takes A lot of work and I'm sure enjl or hoeloe can tell you that burn out can happen easily. My dev team consists of four people. Specifically me, Wohlstand, Josh Oliver and SetaYoshi Hey core I was wondering why you never join...

Would this be useful for rewriting the source code in C++, BTW?

The devs clearly stated that it's not.

Re: SMBX: The 2 dimensions (Smbx 2.0)

This looks like good design! How long are you taking for a level? How much have you planned ahead, besides the sole "200 levels" ambition? While such an amount has been accomplished indeed in the history of SMBX, keep in mind, this WILL take you like half a decade. It will most likely end...

Re: THE SMBX CLASSICS COLLECTION (VOLUMES 16-17)

I'd recommend SMB: A New Beginning as the next episode to do. That's one of the first I recall really designing stuff around Link, even if it was only in like world 8 or so. It also pioneered levels really being themed, such as the game-themed levels (SMB2/Zelda 2/Yoshi's Island) and the zombie leve...

Re: The SMBX CGFX Pack (Up & Running)

It may be a OneDrive thing, everything that I originally uploaded via OneDrive's PC link on my end is still in the same place. I haven't tampered with it anyway, to be honest I don't even think I've even looked at any of since we started finding flaws with the OneDrive concept. I was thinking about...
