Well, it's compatible with smbx 1.3 at least, which is a great thing. As for confusion, i can always clear it up, if it happens. Perhaps emphasize the fact that this is rather good as an alternative for those who cannot run SMBX2 but otherwise SMBX2 is the officially endorsed version? Just an idea....
