There are Hammer Bros. in the second stage.

'Nuff said.
That is not nuff said. If introduced correctly, Hammer Bros can definitely fit within a second level, depending on the intended overall difficulty curve of the episode.

Re: The Second Adventure of The Great Star Hunting (SMBX 1.4.4)

This is strange because you're supposed to be able to save your progress when you are in the main hub world. You can save and still playing or save and leave the episode. The pause menu is nowhere functional for me. Again, this seems to be a specific problem of mine? The pause menu works just fine ...

Re: Perfect SMBX Screenshot Thread 10

If the player can tell the difference betwen two objects without relying on color (but by shape, symbols or size), it's even better, because, this way, you don't even need to worry about color at all except for the aesthetics side.

Re: Super Mario Enigmatic 2 - The Remake

I'm glad this has some progress! When I finally went to play it, the link was removed; but that's ok, if the episode is going to get better. Good job, and good luck!

In my opinion some of the backgrounds look way too... Noisy. I think it's due to the high contrast.

Re: Favorite npc???

Conveyor Belts are definitely on my list, as well as Thwomps (both SMB3 and SMW), Hammer Bros and the SMW Ninjis. I hope your PC doesn't get laggy when you place conveyor belts I've made a level that I'm very proud of using them as a focus. It gets a little buggy with the interactions I made up, bu...

Re: [Ship/Underwater] The Splinter Sub

Considering you said I had the path for E correct, I would assume it is not intentional to let the player swim through the saw blade on the left? (Which appears to be possible damageless) It is possible to swim in between the saw blades (grinders?) on the left, but doing so without waiting for a ra...

[Mountain] Cease and Proceed Station

-No spinjump allowed here, as it can make challenges pointless -Easy-to-Medium difficulty I think -Uses dragon coins -Has one exit screams https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/450056187166195722/576514280497872912/Cease_and_Proceed_Station_Section_1_13694.png https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments...

Re: Flowery Grassland Tileset

All right, I'm gonna make them in the .png format (and maybe convert them to .gifs). Also, I was hoping to add some more shading to your already made graphics. Mainly for the grass so that they have some shadows under the grass. It'd be better if I showed you. Here: https://i.imgur.com/HjZxhX1.png ...

Should I have the images formatted as .gifs, .png, or both? I can also make an optional tileset file for SMBX2.
Do as you wish; in my file there are both .pngs and .gifs (more of the former), so you can include them as you want.

Re: Flowery Grassland Tileset

Hey do plan on expanding the tileset with more blocks? Such as bottom blocks and slopes for the ground. I don't plan to do so, making tiles for me is kind of a pain, and they rarely end up good. This one was just... luck, I guess? If anyone wants to expand it, feel free to do so :> I could try and ...
