Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

What Happened To The Battle Levels? Beta 5. I got big plans for them but we can't make them happen yet. Thought Beta 5 was just going to be a character update with some extra features add. Didn't know battle mode would be fixed for that version. Also so many new possibilities could be added with al...

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

Although aren't there ways in SMBX 2.0 to increase or decrease the number of hits an NPC takes before death. I'm pretty sure you could use those methods to change Bowser's HP.

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

He does showcase beta 4 content, but showcases it along content not natively included, making them less useful to gauge what you actually get right out of the box imo. This is especially the case in the jungle video, which showcases stacked enemies, which is not a feature new to NPCs in beta 4, eve...

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

Enemy stacking has been available since 1.3 (probably before) in the form of NPC codes. And LunaLua contests would probably be about as popular (or maybe slightly more) as unofficial contests not in a way like PixelPest's first preview video showed which is what made it impressive. It is done throu...

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

Pure coincidence. His videos are in no way managed or related to my SMBX2 PR shenanigans. I've started syncing mine up with blog post releases, though. Some other stuff I upload might have further sneak peeks, such as various NPCs in Yoshi Trick Shots. For the record, my preview videos are only sho...

Re: SMBX2 (2.0 Beta 3)

There's videos of a couple different things I'd like to post before another preview video but I hope to do one or two before the release depending on what content there is to show Four beta preview videos in total for Beta 4 sounds good. I see, I just hope that the flag pole from SMB1 is finished b...

Re: Eric Makes a Good Levels

It was pretty great for a first level and glad that you did some things that weren't possible in 1.3.0.1. I especially love the visuals and those goombas that behave like nipper plants that you can jump on (though you can't kill them with a spin jump). Only real criticisms are that their seem to be ...

Re: Boom Boom Evolution (Progress Update--5/18/18!)

I see, so the majority of Boom Booms will be custom it's just that their unique attacks will just be simpler rather than too elaborate like some. Wonder if you are going to include a flying boom boom in the mix. Also all the screenshots on the front page are broken currently just to let you know.

Re: Boom Boom Evolution (Progress Update--5/18/18!)

So how many different Boom Boom fights are going to be in this episode when it is finished? Planning on 12-16. Not all of them are really elaborate like this one (there'll be like 4-6) but they still explore neat concepts and are the length of a generic bossfight but more interesting (somewhere bet...

Re: Perfect SMBX Screenshot Thread 10

Actually the clouds cut off on the second screen so I would say to fix that so there isn't cut off. There are enough clouds in the background already. They're just not visible in a PGE screenshot. PGE screenshots don't stretch the background out but fill the rest of the area with the most common co...

there is already. https://www.supermariobrosx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=9298 Was unaware of this since it wasn't listed in with the other Tower of Biased episodes. So much for downloading all the contest episodes separately. At least now I'll be able to play them all in an episode rather than...

Re: Will the Tower of Biased Ever get a 11 part?

Maybe their should be a Tower of Biased 0 for the first Community contest since I believe that never got it's own episode since Tower of Biased started on the Second Community Contest rather than the first.

You know you can switch between projects. You can just put this on hiatus while you are working on your other one unless you never plan on coming back to it.

actually, I think that smaller episodes is a nice idea, because it does not take a long time to download :-)
Or take as long to beat for if you just want a quick episode to play that doesn't take days to beat if you are busy in life and have other things to do.
