Link loses HP just like Toad and Peach do. His small form just looks just like his big form. Heart HUD for Mario sounds a bit rough since he tries to go into powerdown when taking a hit, but can probably be achieved through clever management of the player.powerup field and the powerdown forced anim...

Well, I'm mainly curious about this project because of the 'Amazing Cow Level' from it that was posted elsewhere on the forums. An episode with more of that kind of gameplay would be great. Although, what's up with the default tilesets? Sort of bland, to be honest.

Wow, this is amazing! This is what SMBX always should've had as the default so that all the characters could be SMB3 styled. It seems like it would be hard to make all of the power-up versions of the characters, but this was pulled off very well and it looks really natural.

I really like this idea, but the sound effect choice for the jump gets really repetitive after a bit. Other than that, this looks really cool.

Thanks for the honesty, it's good to hear people actually pointing out the problems they find so those problems can be addressed. Truth is, if I had specifically designed everything so that there were no points where the one-way scroll gets you stuck, it would have limited the level design extremel...

This is really neat. I love the reimagined music and sprites and the whole 'retro' package was delivered really well. The level design feels almost just like the original games, though it might be somewhat repetitive.
