Re: Block Boulevard, Act I

Not really. I want people to try my level and give their honest opinions here.

Though, this is no longer the first level of my project, I need to swap that out. Oopsie.

Re: Project Concept

Those last quotes were actually meant as a sort of joke. You know how games and such will often tout; "Critics say; 'Amazing!' 'One of a kind!' 'Generic praise!'" I did the opposite. As for what happened to it... Eh. I might pick it back up, but I really don't know... Work on this project hasn't rea...

Re: Project Concept

Well, each world has three acts, with the third act having a boss, but the third act is also longer. As for the whole ruling the islands thing, all of them except Bowser rule over their respective islands, with Bowser invading Rainbowcove Island. Speaking of which, how should I design the temple? I'...

Re: Project Concept

The bosses are more just because I'm not terribly great when it comes to boss battles, and to be frank, I find the bosses to be the absolute least important part of a game.

Project Concept

Hello! I was planning on making a brand new SM64-styled project, and I was wondering what you guys thought about it. (This isn't going into Projects because nothing has been completed yet, I just wanted to bounce a few ideas off of you guys) It's planned to be a story about Luigi trying to escape fr...

Block Boulevard, Act I

The first level in my new project; Block Boulevard, Act I . Not anymore it isn't XD. Inspired by the first level of SMB3. It's not terribly long or hard, just something to get people adjusted to the world. http://i.imgur.com/DKxRkeF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/qqso46m.jpg http://i.imgur.com/lpme64V.jpg ...

Re: What's your current Christmas Tradition?

Next year (2016, since this one is pretty over) I'll be getting drunk or the first time. I'll wait til Christmas for it, and that'll be my Christmas experience. The gift of intoxication. Alcoholism. The gift that keeps on *hic* giving. As for my traditions? Well, we always have the same Christmas d...

Re: Return of He Who Flew Too High

You know not the story of the bear, the bird and the witch?

Have you been living under a rock for the past 16 years? Banjo-Kazooie is THE game to own for the N64, it's sequel, Banjo-Tooie, is even better. A lot of people hate on Nuts & Bolts, but I picked it up on Christmas Eve and it's pretty good.

Return of He Who Flew Too High

Hi guys, I'm back. I used to frequent this forum during the summer, but at some point, life started to interfere with my ability to post and eventually I had to leave. I left a project, the Clocktower, abandoned because I sort of didn't have time anymore. Now, with the advent of the new year, I've d...

4 words and an acronym: FPS remake of Super Metroid. There, slap a price tag on it, then buy a big safe to put the money in.

SMB3-styled Banjo-Kazooie Sprites

I'm looking for SMB3-styled player sprites based on the Banjo-Kazooie games (namely the first two). I'm looking for a Banjo (no Kazooie) sprite to replace Mario, a Mumbo Jumbo sprite to replace Link, a Tootie sprite to replace Toad and a Gruntilda sprite to replace the boss Larry. EDIT: Had to fix u...

I can understand everything else, but what exactly could I fix with the level design.

As for the music, I'm actually thinking that I should take the music and use it for that world's boss.

Re: Wonderous Cave

Hmm... So, this level has an average of 7.5/10... That's still good, I guess.

Can we get a proper level judge in here and have them review this?
