Re: User Talk & Personal Stuff

I just watched this and it is good to see that this subject has been picked up by a channel responsible enough not to make soy jokes about this crowd.

Still a shame how he was handled in Part 2.
Oh yeah without question. Joel and Ellie cross the country seeing the best and worst of mankind dealing with the epidemic and form a father-daughter bond. I'm supposed to feel the same way about someone taking care of a kid for two days? Not quite.

Re: Why is SMBX 38a so hated?

- There used to be quite a bit of tension between X2 and 38a (typically "what is the better version", but also because 38a isn't actually SMBX) Feel free to clarify anything I've said here. On this point - this was mostly fuelled by two or three people, most of whom have been kicked out of their re...

Re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Probably best at this point not to get excited about a vaccine considering one will not be ready yet This, It's nice to know it's going forward but even when it finally becomes to be a used tool it will take Months maybe years to even get it to everyone. Plus we don't know about which people might ...

There's 3 vaccines, and how they are going to be distributed is already cause for concern.

Re: Super Forum Maker 2: Restructuring Sandbox

It did (again) because it was going off the rails, but that was before the restructure. It's great because I started the thread and made arguably worse posts and then the tables turned and I moderated the same crap.

Re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Vaccines won't be available until 2021. The Pfizer one has to be kept at extremely cold temperatures which will be hard to distribute, but there's another that can be kept warmer. If thousands of people are going to be gathering shoulder to shoulder in defiance already, they don't strike me as peopl...

Re: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Honestly the more we find out about the virus the more gruesome it gets, especially in terms of supposed long-term aftermaths and lack of reliable immunity after recovering from the infection I'd say it's the most insidious virus in humankind's history It really isn't. People have lost their minds ...

Re: YouTube's bell is unnecessary

At the same time doing this goes against my principles. I watch my favourite creators because I enjoy their content, but if I don't contribute to their ad revenue by using this system I'm doing a huge disservice towards their effort. Yes, they do what they do because they enjoy it, but I sure as he...

YouTube's bell is unnecessary

So now that youtube-dl is back I wanted to make a thread explaining how I use it. I use an RSS feed reader with mpv to stream videos without needing to use YouTube's front end for subscriptions. With my set up I don't need to use YouTube's subscriptions or rely on bell notifications to see new conte...
