Make sure the direction as of where the path should be opened also has the right exit involved and also that the direction where the path should be opened to begin with once beaten that level. Also, huge hint, NEVER use your existing save file for your SMBX Episode while modifying the map inbetween ...

The higher the delay is the longer it takes for the next one to spawn and if you put it on "projectile" rather than a "warp" it will shoot out instead with a high momentum at start (except for some NPCs such as those herbs NPCs) but once you pick it up you still get the momentum as in you shoot out ...

NPCs do that automatically with frames implemented and such while on a forum you have to use gif files in order to have them animated.

You might wanna test your world map inside start game rather than in the editor. This image might be the PGE thing but I'm not quite sure why it appears like that.

reghrhre did that aswell on his episodes luigis fight for the mushroom kingdom where he used an instant warp for transportation via world map but didn't work because it was never properly tested within SMBX so you have to use either warp pipe or doors in order to do it.

Or do what upper person said.

I'm strangely curious as of how SMBX can actually crash like that that your PC decided to shut down with a blue screen. Never seen that happen anywhere. Was it literally opening up SMBX and then it immediadly crashes? If so then it surely is strange.

The funny thing is is that some of the graphics I had on specific episodes they just don't load inside the levels on different world folders during level testing but in the main game it works eitherway which is quite interesting but weird at the same time.

No... sadly. It's how it's programmed in SMBX unless you do this with "attach to layer" stuff where it actually spawns there after dying the first one but not with a rex but with a more simplier NPC such as multiple goombas at one spot and such.

Try to make the hitbox via NPC codes more compact or lower so it won't happen like that. If necessary change the gfxoffset aswell.

As others said, the possibility for that is not a great one for the editor itself to have for custom graphics to be quickly picked up but you can like search in the search feature of the windows explorer inside the SMBX's graphics pack when you have it so it's not as tedious as picking up every sing...
