Not to mention, the reason the "powerup array" is so awkward is that... there isn't one. SMBX hardcodes powerup states in a million different places, so it requires quite deep hooks to extract that out and make an array out of it.

A few people have been reporting that one with the level effects. A very weird bug, but if it works after a couple of reboots, it's probably nothing to worry too much about!

Wario was rewritten from scratch to be a little nicer to play and less specialised. He now has his shoulder bash, as well as a ground pound (replacing the spin jump).

SMBX is limited to 21 sections, but you can change the size of sections from the section settings menu.

Upgrade to SMBX2 PAL. SMBX2 MAGLX3 has a bug where if the file path to your level folder contains a . custom graphics won't load.

That depends on what your code is. We aren't psychic, we can't fix your code errors without looking at it. Not really, no. You could probably write something to convert between the two but it would be complicated and likely wouldn't be possible for anything too complicated.

This isn't needed in SMBX2 MAGLX3 or later. You can just do:

handycam[1].zoom = 1.25
And that will do the same job. You can also make it support 2 player mode. You can also add black bars pretty easily yourself.

That WILL be the case in Beta 4! There are some limits to it, but you will be able to use .txt files to edit blocks, and make your own new ones.
