Re: Pestilential Plant

I won't bother with typing up a full-blown review because I already reviewed this for the community contest, but I'll enclose my contest review anyway as I still have it: Pestilential Plant - 7.97/10 Yep, I seem to be getting some Many Industrial Machines vibes here. This level is excellently design...

Re: A Stupid FNC Adventure (A webcomic by FNC2002)

Looking good, FNC, just as it does on your forum. Pity it was closed on Knux's forum because you left, though; you attracted a massive fanbase.

Re: Shrewd Manor - Version 1.0

Level Review #1: Shrewd Manor by m4sterbr0s [/size] Reviewed by castlewars. Level Design: 8.1/10 Well, well, well. This level is quite a masterpiece, and it seems to utilise a lot of gimmicks to their full potential. Well, for starters, forcing a gimmick to start off the level was really excellent,...

You need to take the grass tiles and then rename them as "background-X" where X could represent any background, as long as it is 32x32 and has a mask.

Re: The Potion Plight (Preview of 1-3!)

OK, so this project is definitely not dead at all, and I can prove it. sezixor was supposed to be working on 1-3, but he was strangely taking a long time, so I discussed this matter with him in PM at Knux's, and I found that he'd dropped work on it, so I had to start myself. However, I've got a scre...

Not a screenshot, but a vid of me playing ElTipsta's joke level that won the MTFL contest.

Interesting things in SMBX

When playing around with a lava level, I soon discovered that by altering the Blargg's speed, it allowed him to jump further. There is also another, obvious secret as well, although more of a glitch, which involves having an upgraded form of the player duck and slide into an area, then release Down....

Re: Valtteri Island - Revisited

Looking good and nostalgic there, rather reminiscent of the original SMBX while also adding the flair of the newer versions. However, why is Bowser fought, yet Valtteri is supposed to be the final boss?

The Potion Plight (New screens for 1-5!)

http://i.imgur.com/nyjV6IH.png (logo made by Natsu) Story Mario had eventually become fed up of having to walk loads just to get to Bowser's Castle. He elected to set up a hub that allowed him to access different environments, like a snow world, a desert, or even a volcanic world. He was exploring ...

How you got into SMBX?

So, as we know, everyone here is into SMBX. But the question is, how? This is my story of how I got into SMBX: Well, before SMBX, I started my level-editing career in Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2. Or, more specifically, the Mission Builder, back when I was 9. I amused myself and my brother wi...
