I think I prefer the original track, it fits the level pretty well to me. Also this level's pretty good, but I couldn't find all of the purple coins so I went ahead and completed it the normal way. Might try to go through all of it later. Anyway, form what I played this was pretty nicely designed so...

Now that was a great level. Review - Skipsqueak Gardens Simply fantastic. The attention to detail through the level was amazing - it has no impressive gimmicks or creative design, but the level is filled with secrets (usually very well hidden) and is a lot of fun, both exploring and just simply play...

Oh, neat work with this! It definitely fits with the SMB1 style, and it looks pretty nice as well. I usually don't make SMB1 levels, but this seems very useful.

Not bad, but some of the jumps there seem a bit too hard (the one at the second bullet shooter), specially if you're not small. Might be better during gameplay, though.

Thanks for the feedback! I agree on that being the major issue with the level, which is why I don't really like it - the design feels all over the place and it doesn't give the players a break, keeps throwing enemies again and again in annoying setups.

I think they're fine like this. The colors are only slightly different, and it's not like everything needs to use the exact same colors or something. Plus it's a very old level and I don't feel like going back to it to do minor edits :/

Looks pretty great, and I can see that working on forest (and maybe grass) levels pretty well. I think it'd look better if using colors different from the normal ground, to make it stand out more as a NPC, but other than that it's fine.

No, they don't. This is what we call "color variety".

Yes, it can be done bad and clash, but anything else can, from simple tileset mixing or decorating levels to level designing in general.

Or maybe a level for, you know, the LFFTMK sequel you was working on as a SMW hack, but gave up and decided to move it back to SMBX? lol

Anyway, looks great as usual reghrhre! Design is very well made and the length seems fine. Really like some of the details as well, such as the falling rocks.

Agreed. Also on lack of consistency, I just noticed that while one of the grass decorations on the dirt (the original SMW one) has a black outline, while most of those lack one. Rather minor, but might as well point it out, as it's not the first time I have seen something similar.

Looks nice, but it could use some more color variety, as the blocks and every single decoration seem to share the exact same color. Good job regardless, even if it's a simple recolor.

Yeah, the atmosphere here has some potential but it's really short and not very memorable... Definitely could use a few gimmicks, and a big increase in overall length. There's no enemy variety other than the generic Koopas and Goombas pretty much. and it lacks anything to make it interesting otherwi...

There wasn't much to comment on so I'm not making an actual review, but this was great. Design was really clever throughout, and the gimmicks were implemented really well for the most part. The aesthetics were done very well too, so great job!

No, we shouldn't be blaming Chad. You should probably do some shading for it to actually fit the Thwomp, and not just copy-paste the texture. Also, is it possible to make the lava animated? It would be interesting, but I haven't experimented with that in a while so I'm not sure.
