Re: Lowser's Conquest (Get the beta now!)

I am not sure if it should use this thread or a new one. I say it depends on if it is the same name or not. I have no comments about the graphics until I see them as a .png, but that I can wait for. Also, I would not say you need to wait til Beta-4, though I guess you are waiting to prevent future-p...

Re: The Mosaic Contest 3

I will say that even docking points for not ending in a star is also a thing I am not a fan of. What if a level has a Super Mario World star that is unmissable before the real exit? Would that work? Anyway, I guess it is for a HUB styled episode instead of World Map episode if it is requiring stars....

Re: Autumn Vanilla Level Contest 2019

Might give me a break from trying to wrap my head around a level I have to judge in another contest. Creating is less painful than playing. Count me in, but not sure if I should use my own username for the episode.

Re: Custom NPCs won't stop jumping up & down

<eof> means "End of File", but can you show the lua code in question? On a side note, I also hate the screenshot issue you are having. A way around it is to have SMBX open, then the debug window, and then task manager as the active tab on tab of SMBX, but not covering the error. Hit "PrtSc" WITHOUT ...

Re: Should clips be removed from SMBX?

If a coding solution to fixing clip glitches was implemented I doubt it would have a MASSIVE impact, but I’ve always liked the slight jankiness of SMBX. Being able to turn clipping on and off in the editor would be a pretty cool feature honestly, even though it sounds dumb. Honestly, I believe that...

Re: Should clips be removed from SMBX?

I mean, quite a few episodes use clips such as Super Talking Time Brothers, Mario Classic, and some of the Valtteri Island episodes. I know some of my Kaizo levels even use the clips in question. Edit: Also Case 2: Should the glitch used in MrCaves level be removed from SMBX? This level uses a glitc...

Re: MrCave's Level Hub

Okay, after beating the level, I am surprised on how the level plays out in terms of difficulty. I actually like this quite a bit.

Re: MrCave's Level Hub

Just letting you know: There's a realistic chance that this level will break in future versions, cause maaaan fuck that glitch in accidental situations, haha. I mean, I have made two Kaizo levels using this glitch in the past. One of them got 3rd place or so in PixelPest's Kaizo contest and the oth...

Re: Level of the Month: July (LOTM Contest)

I voted for Cyber Castle since it is a level I enjoyed. I even have a coinless video of it I can still upload. (Saying that talking about things I found fun about it. Too bad it is a tad laggy.)

Re: Bowser's Seven Sins (New Animated Screenshot 1.8.19)

I'm confused as to why the shells coming out of the pipes don't cancel out with the other moving shell. Could someone be able to perhaps explain why this is? I have reason to believe that the clear pipes work even when clogged up. The shell still coming out of the pipe is higher on the kill priorit...

Re: NSMBWalls.lua - Fake Walls! (IMPORTANT UPDATE) - link fixed

Hey everyone, I found a quick workaround for this API in the latest SMBX2 PAL Release. You need to locate two lines of code which contain the imagic's ScaleTexture() method. These are within a loop in nsmbwalls.update() event: xRays[k]:ScaleTexture((800) / (2 * r), (600) / (2 * r)) and this one: ov...

Something tells me this is meant for music, in which case I can say Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovie. Though I really have Zelda Randomizers stuck in my head, hehe.

BOOM BOOM BOO CIRCLE
Spoiler: show

This gives me an idea for a Kaizo level by seeing this. I question the "Donot hurt me" part, but still interesting to attach a boo circle to a boom-boom. Though for normal levels, I would not recommend using more boos than three.

I mean, the only thing I need to get from the wiki page is my project's credits which I kept at the bottom of the page. I would not be surprised if it took over a year, but is it even possible to extract the data without it being back up?

Re: What on earth are the "Customizable" and "Dummy" objects?

It'd be nice if there was an option to Upload custom graphics and have them be renamed to fit custom blocks automatically, so that you don't need to replace enemies/blocks If you mean like making the Graphics Pack change the name from lets say "Sand 3 0" into "Mushroom Top", then you can make an in...
