I still cannot get out of the fullscreen option, restarting is the only option to turn it back into window mode tho. :(

Yes. For me it is only possible to play the game in the Start Game.

Well in that case you don't have THAT much reason to be upset? The level tester may be broken but you still could test a level by turning it into a 1-level episode in theory? I know this is really inconvenient but it still looks possible? Also as I already said once, other people could also test levels for you.

In my case, I'm doing the same thing that you said. In addition, I'm creating an episode called "SMBXTALE" (SMBX + UNDERTALE), I will soon release it. By the way, do you know Undertale? At least the death effects of npcs with custom graphics in a certain size, is the desired size. Cedur, is there any other solution to playing Level Editor without problems besides installing a new system?
PS: In Beta 3 the same error happened and I did the same scheme.

I have downloaded the patch. Pipe exits also give you an Error Code 52.

quick question why not remake smbx using terrarias game engine since redigit made that and also it looks more than capable of doing certain things smbx cant as of yet

Because that is absolutely not how game development works. That's not a thing that is possible to do, nor would it help anything in any way whatsoever if it were.

I have a level created from the last patch, and it runs just fine until I die in it and have to respawn. the following pop up appears.

I then have to hit cancel and restart the loader.

any fixes?

seem to have any clue of programming. First you tell this one Guy to program his own SMBX and now you want to use Terraria as a Base for SMBX?

I'm trying to make a Larry's Castle-style turn block wall that requires a Magikoopa to destroy the wall if you don't have the right powerup, but it's incredibly infuriating because the magikoopa keeps spawning far offscreen for some unfathomable reason, is affected by gravity, and thwimps keep spawning and clogging the holes, which I'm pretty sure the original SMW doesn't even allow. Actually, how do magikoopa/turn block spawns even work in SMW anyway? Is there a no-thwimp clause for Larry's Castle? EDIT: IIRC thwimps in SMW ignore ceilings, so it might actually be for that exact reason. Also, magikoopa seems to refuse to appear at Mario's Y coordinate, is it just me?

Reserve item boxes produce an error about a nil number if hit with nothing in them. This doesn't break the game, only one error appears and the block doesn't change the reserve box.

Does the redigitiscool cheat still work? It gives a different sound and when I just tried it, I still lost my progress.

Should work in both. Have you made sure that the 'save and continue' and 'save and quit' options appear on the world map/hub level pause menu? Also it would be safer to quit an episode that way rather than just closing the window.

figured out how mario can keep a star in that smw container box
he could get an item called a star chest which lets mario drops stars on himself , it would be a one use item till he gets another one
