A oversight?
Added in 10 minutes 5 seconds:
I fixed it by modifying the luna.lua file there.
Change this: to to fix the problem.

Just remove anything to do with PNPC (such as pnpc.wrap) plus the library itself and you should be fine, I guess.
What am i supposed to replace it with? just type put in "npc" because just removing PNPC breaks it even more.
Any time you have something like "pnpc.wrap(v)", just replace it with "v". pnpc is completely irrelevant now.
No results...its still broken.....
Check out this big neat project coming soon to smbx2 beta4!

Uh, how do I switch the language in the main game?
Also, the credit is broken.

The warning message provides the line numbers for where the message was triggered from. The one you previously posted refers to line 8 of npc-751.lua.
Remove the loading of pnpc and all instances of pnpc.wrap. All NPCs now have a data table (v.data) by default.
Ideas are useless if you can't make them real.
All my assets from packs and episodes are free to use for non-Novaverse levels and projects, as long as proper credit is given.

I feel like there are quite a few bug reports coming in that have been written in "panic". It's always a good idea to explain in detail what you were doing when the error occurred. And it might also be a good idea to wait a little if your bug isn't critical. There's bound to be a ton of messages in this thread today and tomorrow.

Even despite the first post mentioning that people should use the bug report form on the launcher, too!
Also there's this sheet for tracking new bugs which Rednaxela made:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... 1647707659
Expect a patch sometime next week, I'm thinking.

Ok so I'll hold off transferring all episodes from Beta 3 to Beta 4, thanks for the info.
Still using the legacy editor? Get SMBX2 and PGE, it will improve your experience significantly. Here's why. And remember, Yoshis are tools to be used and discarded.

To anyone experiencing crashing issues with the Dreamworld in The Princess Cliche, this can be fixed by opening frost_house.lvl in the editor, selecting Warp 3, and changing "dream_world" to "dream_world.lvl". At least, that's what worked for me, anyway.

glad to see you're actually paying attention to the bugs people report
how have i not been named "the worst episode creator with 10+ episodes" yet, is there even anyone that beats me in that competition
indefinite hiatus, will still respond to questions about my episodes though

We are, but it can be difficult to track them all when people report them in a variety of different places. That's why the launcher now has a bug report button, which you should use to report new bugs you find.

The following is guaranteed to be:
Can I select Mario (Player 1) and Luigi (Player 2) as playable characters and the princess as the character in SMBX 2.0 Beta 4 and future versions from this version, which Bowser and all Koopalings (in SMB 3 style) have kidnapped?
I would also like to ask if you can continue to select a Toad as a figure.
I'm planning a classic episode in which you save Toads in several sections and save the princess at the end of the game.
I look forward to your answer.

Try disabling keeping it open in the background when it's not in use. This comes at the cost of it reloading every time you test, but it worked for me.

What’s the problem with the Luna tester? Does it freeze and crash when you start it? Does it not open at all? Can you describe how it’s not working?
