SMBX 2.0 Super Metroid Samus Graphics

I used a sprite sheet of Super Metroid Samus and used a Zero Suit Samus sprite sheet made by Moochy on VG resource.
I do request some advice or help, since despite changing Samus's ball form graphics, they still appear as the default graphics in-game, along with samus-1, which I assumed was Samus with 1 health, appearing as samus-2, instead of the Zero Suit Samus graphics I used for samus-1. Anyway, here's some screenshots and the link:

I would also like some feedback, since this is my first time doing custom graphics for a 2.0 character, and maybe some tips on how to get the samus-1 and ball graphics to work

I think Samus-1 is not even used; however, I would like to see the Zero-Suit graphic.

I also had the idea to use Zero Suit Samus as Samus-1, but...

Samus-1 is unused.
Samus-4 and Samus-5 and basically the same...based on her Morph Ball graphics.

ball1 is Samus-2 (no power)
ball2 is Samus-3 (fire)
ball3 is Samus-4 and Samus-5 (raccoon/tanooki)
ball4 is Samus-6 (ice)
ball5 is Samus-7 (hammer)

Try checking the costumes folders for examples.


Anyway, looks good from the screenshots. I gave up on a Super Metroid Samus costume because 3 frames of running just isn't enough...I'll check yours out when I get the time.

For some reason, although I also have custom graphics for the ball, they don't seem to work at all, are they unchangeable like the koopa car in 1.3?
