After a long 2 and a half year period of working on this breath of fresh air SMBX graphics project, I'm finally proud to present y'all, the SEGA Mega Drive GFX pack:

Version 1.0 (December 20, 2020):

  • GFX pack published

Version 1.12.50.0 (January 27, 2021):

  • Blocks 61 (Underground Block 4x4), 93 (Overworld Block 4x4) sightly edited.
  • Blocks 198, 199, 200, 336, 337, 338, 339, 1186, 1187, 1188, 1189, 1190, 1191, 1192, 1193, 1194, 1195, 1199, 1200, 1202, 1204, 1206, 1208 edited without black outline.
  • Effects 2, & 4, and NPC 1 (SMB3 Goomba) shoe edited.
  • New editions: Blocks 674 (Mushroom Block), 675 (Fire Flower Block), 676 (Super Leaf Block), 677 (Tanooki Suit Block), 678 (Hammer Suit Block), 679 (Ice Flower Block), & 680 (Powerup Reset Block) added to GFX pack.
  • New editions: Backgrounds 248 (Broken Desert Pipe), & 249 (Desert Pipe Base) added to GFX pack.
And that's not the ONLY update to this, there's going to be more updates in the future. So keep your eyes peel for them! ^-^'

After a one month, one week period of being a thing in this forums, version 1.12.5 of mah Sega Mega Drive GFX pack has now been published for all SMBX2.0 uses. Check the opening post for what's new. ^-^"

Wow beautiful, !! I love the underground (with the Shyguys), underwater, SMB3 inspired, desert, and especially the forest tilesets~

Very cool~ for some reason this graphics style reminds me of the Two-Player Race Mode in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (with split-screen) ~ Excellent work here on these tilesets

Thank you! I originally wasn't aiming for the "Sonic The Hedgehog 2 2 Player Race Mode" while making these graphics for all these 2.5 years. But I'm flatter by the compliment.
