So, after saying in my previous's project thread that I decided to retake another project of mine that I supposedly lost, here it comes. It's quite nice to have a new start on something I actually was anxious to continue on. So, for those that do not know about this project due to the fact that it's pretty ancient if I say so myself, take a seat and your time to read this thread.

This project has a total of 5 hubs and 28 levels, so it's pretty short, I know.

It was a peaceful day, as usual the Mario Brothers were invited to the castle for a party, where a cake was awaiting for our heroes. During the party, a shadow-like monster irrupted in the party. Our heroes trying to fight back the monster were repelled like nothing. The monster proceeded to turn everybody in the kingdom to stone. Mario, the only survivor, pursued the monster who ran away a long distance, arriving at a mountain where he found a sage called Enfer who told him that a monster that was supposedly sealed in the Stars of Whispers within the Palace of Whispers escaped and proceeded to curse the entire world. Trying to fix things up, Mario ventures into the deep depths of the Palace, where he tries to fix the Star of Whispers so the monster can be sealed off again.

Looks amazing!

I may make a level or two for this, but I don't want to be a full-on level designer.
I promise I'll put forth as much effort as I did for my CC9 level.

I'd like to take the last open spot as level designer.
Proud SMBX'er since 2012. After a year of inactivity and in light of B4's release I am attempting to commit myself partially to SMBX once again.

This looks great so far! I especially like the new screenshots. Your graphical choices are original and they look really good with your design. The story sounds cool as well, and I like how this project is going to be relatively short. Good luck with this.

Thanks, I also like the newer screens better to be honest with you. =P

I actually thought about making short levels because ... how do I say this without offending myself ... inability to make fun long levels. Like everytime I start making a level I'm in the zone for the first seconds but later on get bored very quickly and ends up making me design very poorly. So I thought, why don't I just make good short levels? And there you go, this is the result.

I dunno, in my opinion this looks nice but the level design looks ehh from the screenshots, exept for the forest one, that is the best screenie you got.
