Custom background issue

Postby Scroll » Sat May 25, 2019 5:39 pm

Lately I've been experiencing this strange issue in almost every custom background I use. It looks in a weird way, showing a part of the original background that it is replacing.

Any thoughts?

Make sure it is as tall as the background you are using (or as tall as the screen if that is shorter).

My best guess on this issue with the custom background looking like this is maybe you should of made the custom backgrounds the SAME pixel sizes as the original background that comes with SMBX.... Just a suggestion

Rather than guessing, perhaps worth pointing out that the particular background you're using uses two background2-n.png files, in order to get the parallax effect, so you need to replace both. Or use a background2-n.ini file.
