Background help, backgrounds not tall enough?

Background help, backgrounds not tall enough?

Is there any way to extend a level higher than the background? I want to make a pyramid in the SMW Desert Night but the background doesn't extend vertically past the stars? Are there certain backgrounds that're higher, y'know, made for tall/vertical levels? Thank you so much for your time!

Save this graphic as background2-30.gif and use select the SMW cave bg in your level. Should work.

Also, if you use the SMB3 cave background (not cave 2) then you can make it as tall as you want.

If you do what I posted, you shouldn't notice a difference, except that your problem is solved. If you check the SMW cave box in the editor after importing the graphic, that is.

That's not true. SMB3 Cave 1 has the same problem SMW Desert night has, but downwards.

I meant that you can make the graphic as tall as you want, and then extend it. It does get weird rendering if you don't make the graphic taller.
